Dear Anielka, my wonderful star,
This little poem travels from afar.
Though I missed your birthday, please forgive,
In my thoughts, you always live.

I’m sorry I couldn’t find time this year,
For lessons together, my schedule’s unclear.
With teachers so few and the workload so tight,
It’s hard to balance both day and night.

But let’s focus on Christmas, the magical season,
With joy and laughter as the perfect reason.
May your tree shine bright, and gifts overflow,
And your smile light up like freshly fallen snow!

Now, about languages – I know you love French,
Its charm, its flair, its romantic trench.
But English, dear Anielka, is truly the key,
To unlock the world – just wait and see!

Kim and I send love to the whole family too,
To Dad Dominik – a policeman so true,
To Mom Agnieszka – a great teacher by trade,
And Helenka, Rozalia, and Józef – a merry parade!

So we wish you a Christmas full of delight,
With magic and wonder all through the night.
And may the New Year bring dreams coming true,
Happiness, adventure, and great things for you.
